Server job description
REPORTS TO: Lead Server
SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include, working as a team to professionally & courteously serve all customers while upholding the restaurant values.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years or older
- Food & Beverage experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time & repetitive hand/wrist motions
- Ability to lift heavy objects above 50lbs
- Work with hot, cold, & hazardous chemicals/equipment
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Understanding of the full Menu including the Beverage Menu
- Practices Food & Alcohol Safety, in accordance to the VA Health Department & Virginia ABC
- Upholds Sanitary & Cleanliness practices for food handling & cleanliness throughout the restaurant
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintains a neat & clean appearance
- Possesses a strong work ethic
- Practices honesty & integrity at all times
- Communication with team members, other departments, & leadership
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Respects & maintains a good working relationship with other team members, departments, & leaders
- Stays productive at all times throughout the shift
- Stays calm & maintain composure under high stress environments
